Hula Hula from Hurghada: yacht, speedboat and trip options

The Hula Hula excursion has an appealing title: lunch, massage and snorkelling in one trip. However, that title covers several options rather than one unchanging package. If you have already opened the booking page and wonder why the price changes after selecting a hotel or boat, this is the reason: you pay for the selected option, not the entire collection of words above the photograph.

In our catalogue dated 11 September 2026, offer 610985 starts at €22.89 per person, is listed at eight hours and has a 4.4 rating from 2,050 reviews. This is a useful starting point for your budget. It does not confirm the price of every private trip, transfers from every resort or identical inclusions across all options. See the Hula Hula options

Choose the boat before comparing prices

The checked booking page offers yacht and speedboat options. Its general list links massage to the yacht and transfers to the selected option. Check these two items in your basket. Hula Hula offer page

For your planning, this creates a straightforward choice. Consider the yacht if travelling on the sea is part of the day you want and you are happy to commit plenty of time. A speedboat is interesting if the island visit and a suitable short option matter more. However, the boat type does not provide an exact hotel return time. Ask for the duration of the option you are paying for, including how transfers are counted.

Do not compare the cheapest option without transport against a more expensive trip from your hotel and conclude that the second price is inflated. First match the inclusions. If you are staying far from the boarding point, arranging your own journey could consume the saving before you leave the harbour. Our guide to Hurghada without a car helps with transport planning.

How the day works without an invented timetable

The short description mentions island relaxation, snorkelling and water sports. This combines activities rather than providing a whole day lying on one beach. For choosing, the allocation matters: how long is spent travelling, how much remains ashore, where does swimming happen and when is food served? You cannot calculate these parts by dividing eight hours by the number of activities in the title.

If the massage is your main reason for booking, ask about its location, length and inclusion in the specific fare. Do not equate an advertising word with a lengthy spa treatment. If snorkelling matters more, establish the water stops and guidance. Someone wanting to read quietly on the beach needs an answer about uninterrupted free time. Otherwise, a busy programme becomes a drawback.

We do not give a universal departure or return minute: the short catalogue does not provide one, and options differ. Do not base an evening restaurant reservation on a time mentioned in someone else’s review. Before paying, give the operator your hotel and latest acceptable return. If there is no reliable answer, leave the evening free or choose another day.

What the €22.89 starting price really means

At the starting fare, two adults total €45.78 and four adults €91.56. These calculations use full starting fares, not a family package or group discount. Children’s fares, the selected boat and transfers can change the basket. Do not divide a private option’s price by the seats visible in a photograph: capacity and the pricing basis need separate confirmation.

For comparison, Orange Bay cruise 387390 starts at €45.65 per person, lasts eight hours thirty minutes and also mentions lunch and massage. The difference between the starting fares is €22.76 per adult. This does not prove Hula Hula has a worse beach or Orange Bay is twice as comfortable. The fares belong to different offers and may include different conditions. Check a comparable Orange Bay option

Open both baskets for the same date. Compare included admission, food, drinks and the exact hotel zone. Photography, additional purchases and any desired services outside the package should remain separate items if you choose to buy them. If an extra has no published price, ask for it before including the service in your budget.

If you are not travelling for every activity

A group often includes someone who does not want to use a mask or join water sports. They should not have to judge the day by the number of included activities. Establish where they can wait for everyone else, whether there is shade and whether they can remain quietly aboard. A beach element does not confirm unrestricted movement between island and boat at any time.

If climbing steps is difficult, an ordinary deck photograph does not settle the question. You need answers about boarding, going ashore and getting back from the water for the specific boat. We do not consider the excursion accessible without operator confirmation. Further questions appear in our guide for travellers with reduced mobility.

When families should choose something else

An eight-hour day is a poor fit if your child needs their usual nap and the resting arrangements are unknown. Before booking, confirm a toilet, shade and life jackets in suitable sizes. Minimum ages depend on the operator and chosen activities; conditions appear on the relevant booking page. Do not promise your child participation in everything shown in the photographs.

Take seasickness and sun protection questions to a pharmacist or paediatrician. If your family only wants a short introduction to the sea, first look at half-day options. For this trip, a useful final question is specific: “What does the selected option include for our hotel, and where will we be between activities?” Keep the answer to compare Hula Hula with other island excursions according to the actual day you want to spend.
